A Symphony of Decline.

Can we transpose topographical and ice sheet data into audio information?

When looking at statistical data, it may only be possible to read a line at a time. If we can pin point areas that are experiencing polar changes, can we then transpose that visual topographical data, into sound? Moreover, if we can train ourselves to listen to the data, much as we would listen to a symphony, with multiple things happening at once, could this be a far more efficient way to analyse statistics? Moreover, if this can be done with some kind of uniformity, what difference can this make to how we approach geo-graphical changes? Could this research extend to algae blooms, deforestation, and even earthquakes.
